Welcome to

The House at Munirka.

Montessori is often described as child-led. More precisely, it is an environment where the child is free to choose within a sequence that has been prepared with great care. Every material in this House has a purposeful place in that sequence, introduced by a trained adult through a single, precise presentation and thoughtfully designed to help the child recognise and learn from their own work.

What follows belongs to the child: how long to work, how often to repeat, when to pause, and when to return the material to its place on the shelf. In this freedom, children gradually develop independence, concentration and confidence in their own choices.

Ardee Montessori House, Munirka A Street, the House brings together the intimacy of a carefully prepared environment with room to move, garden and grow. It offers children the continuity of an environment they know and trust, while giving them space to take their next steps with confidence.

At Ardee Montessori House, a trusted Montessori school in New Delhi, children learn, explore and grow in a thoughtfully prepared environment that nurtures independence and curiosity.

How we educate

Authentic Montessori, the Ardee way.

Our Houses follow the Montessori method as Dr. Maria Montessori envisioned it, guided by the experience and values of a school group that opened its first Montessori House in 2003.

Three things that shape the way we work.

The method

Our Philosophy

We believe children thrive when they are trusted to work independently. Our Montessori philosophy is shaped by prepared environments, authentic Montessori materials, and trained mentors who observe before they guide.

The Ardee way

Ardeeology

The story of where Ardee began, the three understandings at the heart of our educational philosophy, the mentor’s role in nurturing independence, and a continuous journey of learning from the first environment to Cambridge A Levels.

A day at the House

Structure that a child can trust.

The day runs from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, beginning with a warm greeting at the door and unfolding into a long, uninterrupted Montessori work cycle. Children move between purposeful indoor work and outdoor experiences in the sandpit and gardening patches, come together for a freshly prepared meal, and end the day calmly with their families.

9:00 AM

Arrival and greeting

Each child is greeted by name at the door, independently removes their shoes, and chooses where to begin their Montessori work for the day.

Mid-morning

The work cycle and the outdoors

Presentations, independent work, practical life and time in the outdoor play zone.

1:30 PM

Departure

A calm handover, with the day's observations shared through the parent communication app.

Moments from the House

A morning in the environment.

Montessori highlights

Six commitments in every environment.

Our Montessori programme is intentionally designed to give every child a warm, confident, and emotionally secure beginning before they enter any formal campus environment.

Certified Montessori educators

Our trained and certified Montessori educators guide each child with patience, deep observation, and a thorough understanding of early-years development. They support growth through gentle guidance rather than instruction.

Sensorial learning materials

Authentic Montessori apparatus invite children to learn through their senses, refine perception, and make abstract ideas concrete. Each material has a clear purpose and supports hands-on discovery.

A strong focus on independence

From simple choices to meaningful self-care tasks, children build confidence, discipline, and ownership of their actions. These early experiences lay the foundation for independence that lasts a lifetime.

Social and emotional learning

Grace and courtesy, mindfulness, and emotional expression are woven into daily routines. Children learn to regulate emotions, collaborate peacefully, and form trusting relationships within their community.

Parent communication via app

Photos, updates, and classroom observations help parents feel connected to their child's day. This transparent home and school bridge supports shared understanding and builds trust.

Peace education

At Ardee Montessori Houses, peace is lived daily through calm environments, respectful relationships, and purposeful work that nurtures self-discipline, empathy, and responsibility.
